T’was the month before Christmas

And all through The Mall

The shoppers were converging

It was wall to wall.

 What to buy him

And what about her?

The pressure was mounting

It was becoming a blur.

Then suddenly I remembered

It was Wednesday!  Alas!

I’ll stop in at Aligra

And un-wine-d with a glass!
